At the Newlin Grist Mill, we believe in collaboration among our staff, with our volunteers, and in our relationship with the historic site and habitats we manage. Working at NGM is an opportunity to put conservation into practice every day, both in the historic buildings and on the 160-acre preserve, which includes thriving wetlands and more than 8 miles of public nature trails.
Thanks to the teamwork of our staff and volunteers, the site is alive with activities all year round, from workshops, bird walks, and summer camps to daily tours of the 1704 Mill, regular open-hearth cooking demonstrations in the Trimble Kitchen, and sold-out classes in the Blacksmith Shop.
