Internship Program

Newlin Grist Mill offers internship opportunities in numerous areas, including history, education, collections management, archival practice, and natural resource management. In the past, interns have worked on a natural resource inventory, invasive species identification and removal, archival collections processing, collections-based research, and collections policy development.

We have two pre-structured internships at Newlin Grist Mill: the Dabbs Woodfin Internship and the Chester Water Authority Environmental Education Internship. The Dabbs Woodfin Internship has dealt with a variety of subjects in the past, including historic engineering, archival collections management, archaeology, and Summer Discovery Camp. Applications and internship topics are generally listed on our employment page in January.

For information on current internship openings, visit our employment page. If you would like to propose an internship, email us at info@newlingristmill.org or call 610.459.2359.
