Tavern Night is a one-of-a-kind evening of 18th-century food, drink, and music. Participants will enjoy the warmth of the fire as they delight in a selection of flavors and aromas representative of those found in a colonial tavern.
All tavern goers will be served five sample-sized courses of various foods and drink that are based on period receipts (recipes). A variety of punches, flip, and other beverages will be served along with fresh (non-alcoholic) cider. Period music, a live auction, and games will provide entertainment for the evening.
Proceeds from this fundraiser provide valuable internship opportunities for students wishing to pursue a career in history, museums, archaeology, and related disciplines.
Cost: $70.00/person. You must be 21 years or older to attend.
